We have been contacted by a disgruntled customer who purchased an expensive dog seat cover which started to fall apart after just a few months. The underside of the cover had "pilled" and bits of rubber littered the back seat and floor of her car. In addition, the cover split at the seams due to poor quality seam stitching. The photos below show it all.

Hi team
I ordered a premium travel safety seat protector in Grey on the 15th of November The product has failed  The black underside has fallen to bits and has made a huge mess throughout the car and the footwells
I have emailed about this already with no response from you. I also noticed today it has a large tear in it. My dog is great in the car and she has not caused this tear. The fabric has also become very soft and floppy- has no rigidity left to hold its shape anymore. This has not been machine washed, only hosed off and air dried on the clothes line.

My dog comes in the car with me every day and this cover is clearly not fit for purpose if it has only lasted 3 months, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Being an Australian business I am hoping you will do the right thing regarding the failure of this product

Please reply to this email as soon as possible with a satisfactory solution . There will be an auto email reply as I am about to have major surgery but I will get your reply, I am at a loss as to what to do now without having to fork out for another cover from a different company while I wait for your response -

Order #4640 is over three months old.  As per our refund policy on our website, we have a 30-day return policy for faulty or damaged items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

It is obvious that the Aussie Dog Shop (https://aussiedoggies.shop/pages/about-us) does not care about their customers and has no regard to consumer law - Goods shall be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose".

The customer has a clear right under law to be refunded in full.

So, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company!
