The business owner was alerted by active CCTV cameras, and quickly arrived on the scene at about 1.15am, while the thief was sill raiding the place. The thief's Toyota Hilux (BW82XO) was open and with the keys still in the ignition. The business owner quickly grabbed the keys and locked the vehicle, while the thief was still inside the premises. Police were called and attended quickly, but the offender was not able to be caught at the time, as he had escaped into the adjacent countryside. The thief's vehicle remained nearby, with police having now taken the keys.
A number of business advertising fridge magnets taken from the vehicle indicate that the offender was probably a local tradesman operating "WARRAGAMBA PLUMBING SERVICES PTY LTD", with company registered address of 68 Nineteenth Street, Warragamba NSW. However, the thief actually lives at 17 Warradale Rd, Silverdale.
Relevent photos, including the offender caught on camera loading stolen timber on his vehicle, are shown below. The thief has been identified as Daniel Robbins of Warradale Rd Silverdale.
Update Jan 19, 2023: Police have now charged this man.
Update Jan 20, 2023: Numerous readers have positively identified the thief as Daniel Robbins, of 17 Warradale Rd., Silverdale. Residents of the Silverdale, Warragamba, Wallacia, The Oaks and the Lower Blue Mountains areas are warned against using him.
Footnote: The construction site fence panels have now been located, installed on the side fence at a house in Gibson St. Warradale, where they are currently being used as interim fencing for works being carried out by Xxxxx - YES! The thief and his work vehicle are constantly there while what appears to be extensive works are completed. It is believed that this residence is owned by the thief or his family.
Update Feb 7, 2023: Following contact made to Robbins, the stolen fence panels were returned to the owner along with a confession and an apology. In return we deleted his name from this webpage, however the article will remain as it now is because in our opinion, the thefts were not ones of spontaneous opportunity, but deliberately planned and executed in the dead of night. Had it not been for the CCTV cameras and our disclosures in the community interest, this low sneak would have escaped with both the timber and the fencing. The goods were returned only because he was found out and exposed.
Update June 3 2023: It has now been revealed on national television that not only is Robbins a low sneak thief, but the biggest grub landlord we have ever heard about. Last night on Channel 9's 'A Current Affair' Robbins was exposed as a truly rotten ratbag in his treatnent of a tenant at the Gibson St residence.

Update March 2025: Robbins has not learned any lessons from his past behaviour. This total asshole has continued to menace and intimidate people. Pasted below, with the permission of the person who contacted us, are several emails concerning Robbin's disgusting behaviour:
First email; "We are the unfortunate ppl who live next-door to this sad excuse for a human on Gibson st.
Second email: "Feel free to use previous email if you want, I don't expect any miracle fixes. He got off with a slap when caught red handed even when he advertised who he was. And yes I agree with you, only reason he apologised is they probably threatened him with jail time if he didn't. Some ppl believe the earth formed and life evolved on this planet just in preparation of their arrival. Just like ppl like Ivan Milat and Jeffrey Dahmer, warning signs are ignored until something drastic happens. For 1 person to have so many court dates has to explain the type of person they are."
Third email: "Just to clarify. For the first few things I did try to communicate and reason with him, but I soon learned that this is a complete waste of effort. Cause if you ask him to stop doing something that effects someone other then him, he deliberately does the opposite. For example when I asked him to stop jackhamering against the fence at 6am on a Sunday he did it more."
Well maybe things have started to catch up with Robbins. He has re-registered his company as "24/7 SYDNEY EMERGENCY PLUMBING" on December 4, 2024. We will do whatever it takes to expose Robbins as the owner of this 'new business'.just so people who are smart enough to undertake due diligence, will know who they will be dealing with - or hopefully not dealing with.
What a disgusting oxygen thief this poor excuse for a human being is.
DO NOT let this man onto or anywhere near your premises. Have nothing to do with him for any reason.
